To greet someone in Canada you should have a firm handshake and say "Hello,how are you?"
Or waving with your hand, nod,or saying Hello.
Canadian commonly speak in French and English.
Phrases commonly used are Salut(Hi) or Bonjour(Good Day) or Ça va?(How's it going).
In most places in Canada hand gestures are accepted.
In Québec it is very offensive to make a "thumbs down" sign.
Pointing with your index finger is rude.
